Take nursing, for example. Career options are plentiful with a whopping 620 job openings posted during the month of September 2019 alone. Healthcare is consistently one of our region’s top employment sectors – and we need your talent and skills to keep it growing!
Then there’s our ever-present need for software developers. An impressive 572 job openings were posted during the same month with a market salary of $93K. Computer systems engineers are also in hot demand, with 310 jobs posted for the month and a market salary of nearly $97K.
Our vibrant tourism industry and growing population also supports a strong retail sector. Approximately 400 job openings were posted this past September.
