U.S. Air Force Academy
The Air Force Academy is both a military organization and a university. Much of the Academy is set up like most other Air Force bases, particularly the 10th Air Base Wing, but the superintendent, commandant, dean of faculty and cadet wing are set up in a manner resembling a civilian university.
Palmer Lake

Black Forest
Black Forest is an unincorporated region in El Paso County, just north of Colorado Springs. It was named for the high density of Ponderosa Pines and includes about 200,000 acres of a larger area known as the “Pineries.” Black Forest has a rural feel and many parks.

With Falcon’s proximity to Colorado Springs, visitors can stay outside a larger city, while still just a stone’s throw from urban adventure and other attractions, including the Garden of the Gods.

Manitou Springs
Tucked into the petticoats of Pikes Peak, Manitou Springs has been the quintessential tourist town since the 1870s, when visitors discovered the healing waters the Ute Indians had been drinking for years. Many of the town's mineral springs still function today and the water is free.
Security-Widefield

Northgate
Upscale and expanding, Northgate is near the US Air Force Academy, which has military exhibits, hiking trails, and the spiked-roof Cadet Chapel. Green spaces include Mary Kyer Park, with sports fields, and peaceful Frog's Leap Park. The Western Museum of Mining & Industry recounts gold rush history and hosts a twice-weekly farmers' market in warmer months. The area is also home to brewpubs and international eateries.
Gleneagle
Gleneagle is a popular community within Northgate Colorado Springs. Gleneagle is bordered on the north side by Baptist Road, to the west by Struthers and to the south by Northgate Blvd and Sun Hills Drive. This neighborhood has easy access to I25 and convenient shopping at the Bass Pro Center and the retail center on Voyager.
Flying Horse
Flying Horse is a beautiful community within Northgate Colorado Springs. The Flying Horse Club and Flying Horse Golf Course are legendary. Residents of Flying Horse can take advantage of the private resort-style athletic club and spa, relaxing pools, tennis facility, an 18-hole Tom Weiskopf golf course, and a Euro-style clubhouse experience.
Pine Creek
Pine Creek Colorado Springs is a very popular neighborhood in Briargate with an active HOA association. The Pine Creek community covers 900-acres and has golf course and open space amenities. Pine Creek was one of the first communities in Colorado Springs to require builders to design and build their new homes in accordance with strict design guidelines.
Cordera
Cordera is one of the newer developed areas in Briargate that has a great range of new homes for sale. Cordera homes for sale in Briargate area are in a new larger planned community with a beautiful Community Center with an outdoor pool. Cordera markets itself as a very family focused neighborhood.

Patty Jewett

Olympic Museum

Manitou Incline
The Manitou Incline is one of the most popular hiking trails in Colorado. A former cablecar track, it gains over 2,000 feet of elevation in less than one mile. The base of the Incline is located in Manitou Springs near the base of the Barr Trail and across the street from the Cog Railroad.
